Overwintered 5-Frame Nuc

All of our Nucs come with MARKED queens that are F1 daughters of our VSH Pol-line 2.2 Breeder queens and are locally mated in our Apiary. Nucs are packaged in a reusable ProNuc Box and come with about 3 frames of brood and 2 frames of resources (honey & pollen).

Selection criteria centers on mite-resistance, production, tempermant, build-up and longevity. Breeding candidates build up strongly, produce high honey yields, have a gentle temperament and have low mite infestations.

Pick-up is from our Teaching Apiary near Downtown Wake Forest, NC and payment is due in full to reserve your Nucs.
